The existing MSME classification was based on the criteria of investment in plant and machinery or equipment. So, to enjoy the MSME benefits, the MSMEs have to limit their investment to a lower limit, as mentioned below:

Documents Required for MSME Registration-
- Business address proof- Sale deed/ Rent agreement/Utility bills
- Partnership deed/LLP agreement/MOA/COI
Some other details to be asked at the time of registration- regarding no of employees etc.
